MLW Network's Top 20 Players Right Now: #18 - Tyler Day

Day is the first member of our list that is currently a free agent, but make no mistake he is one of the most reliable veteran players out there. Tyler has announced an impending retirement, but as of the time of this list he is still one of the top players in the league. Day's game mostly inlcudes the objective of driving the ball. Historically a streaky hitter, Day has gone through stretches of carrying his teams offensively. The one thing that can be said about Day that's unfortunate is that we haven't gotten to see what he can do as the main source of offense for a team. He's been fortunate to always have a solid cast around him, which has definitely contributed to his wiffleball I.Q and veteran poise. Day's .600 slugging percentage is good for 9th all-time among veteran qualifiers.
