NOTES & EXTRAS
- Goodfellas title is their franchise's 3rd overall, putting them 1 behind the Flapacamingos (4) for the most in tournament history
- Goodfellas title win gives them back-to-back championships, making them just the 3rd franchise (Flapacs WP1 & WP2, & Purple Drank Squad WP3 & WP4), to pull off that accomplishment
- WP12 marked the first time ever that the tournament underwent a weather delay. During the 2pm time slot, Field 1 underwent an 18-minute rain delay. We also had our first delay ever for anything not inlcuding weather or fence repair, as a family of rabbits caused a 7-minute delay during the 1pm time slot. Finally, we had our 3rd ever fence delay, this one during the championship game. It was the first fence repair delay since WP7.
-Bert Brigade became the 4th team (not including WP1) to make the title game in their first ever
tournament appearance. Teams that have accomplished that feat are now 2-2

- The 12pm game between the Mandingos & Goon Squad, is the first in tournament history to be decided by a coin toss. The game had stretched into the 7th inning, tied at 24, and well over the hour & 15 minute mark after a 4-inning meatball fiesta, and had to come to an end. The Mandingos won the coin toss, and thus went to the playoffs ahead of the Goon Squad.
- Sawyer Brown becomes just the second player to win both MVP & Top Rookie (Matt Creamer in WP7)
- Al Etter became the first player to reach 90 career RBI (91).
- Brian Stanzione joins 30 HR club (32), now just 3 behind all-time lead (Etter, 35)
- Jeff Ronchetti, Ryan Hutchings & Ryan Ricci all reached the 50 hits mark on Saturday
- Jeff Ronchetti, already the all-time leader, surpassed 175 career strikeouts in the 4th inning of their final game.
- Goon Squad reached their 25th all-time win, with their victory over the Goodfellas
- WIFFLEPALOOZA XIII, is set to take place on August 3rd, 2019.
