Mandingos add Gifford to the Roster

This afternoon, shortly after receiving their franchise name, the new expansion Mandingos announced that they have signed experienced utility player Bobby Gifford to a 1-year deal. Gifford has been a part of two championship runs (WP2 & WP6), and will be just one of 3 players on the team with previous tournament experience. The Mandingos, already will be at a dis-advantage, being unable to even see the field until the day of the tournament, so any help they can get will be crucial. They will field quite a talented squad however, holding Gifford along with Dustin Graiff, captain Pete Gervasio and prospect Ryan Shaughnessy, whom many good scouting reports have been given. The Mandingos currently sit at 40-1 underdogs to win Wifflepalooza VIII, according to Bovada in Las Vegas.
